I somehow forgot to update the blog last week after having a rocking day at St Andrews at The Open, but with loads of ace golf balls currently signed and up for auction, now is the time and now is the hour! After an ace week at Gullane last week, I headed to St Andrews for the Champions Challenge Day and Final Practice for the big one! There were obviously champions galore around, but not all signed for everyone, so was a bit mad at times, but I managed to get a fairly good spread of Open Champs, Major Winners and other big names.
Several years ago Stewart Cink was kind enough to send me a multi signed Ryder Cup Flag from the USA team, and it was awesome to be able to thank him for his support in person, especially as he remembered it! He’s in the ball auctions, along with fellow former winners Mark O’Meara, Sir Bob Charles, Louis Oosthuizen (who finished runner up this week after a play off), David Duval, Tony Jacklin, Mark Calcavecchia and Tom Lehman.
Man of the moment (though he *just* missed out on the chance to make history) Jordan Spieth was the first golfer I met when I got to the range, and though I didn’t get a photo with him, I was thrilled that he signed a ball (which already has an opening bid on it), while big names Jason Day, Luke Donald, Sergio Garcia, Francesco Molinari and Patrick Reed all contributed.
As with a week before, a few of the players declined to sign balls, but happily signed other items. Among them was one of the most consistent players and current World No7 Jim Furyk who signed a CWCUK vest as well as posing for this photo.

There’s also a few wee celeb extras, including Gavin Hastings and Dougray Scott, while a few have contributed their own golf balls to the auction. Click on the link to find out more.
Thanks Folks 😀
